Tal Willis - About The Artist

Tal Willis is a truly innovative artist with a personal, unique style.  Much of his time is spent on the water, boating and fishing, which allows him to draw inspiration from the environment he treasures most.   His natural talent, intuition and perception all capture the essence and spirit of the moment.  This visualization is translated into his work.

His use of light and form radiates in each piece of fine art, thereby creating a connection between you and the painting.  You feel as if you can step inside and experience the warmth of the sun, the sparkles in the water or the wind across your face.

His custom portraits portray and express the subject's personality so vividly that the painting appears lifelike.

Tal graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in 1993 with a degree in Illustration, and worked for several design firms before striking out on his own in 2005, when he decided to pursue his passion for painting.

Initially, his time was spent self-training for painting in the digital realm, a cutting edge approach that is just making its way into today's art world.  He experimented with innovative methods while incorporating the traditional painting techniques he learned at SCAD.  Once he mastered this new form, he began showing and selling his work, and the response has been overwhelming.

His talent is not limited to fine art.  He is an accomplished free lance designer on any subject and enjoys creating high-end logos, vehicle wraps or any creative challenge.  He is also an officially licensed collegiate artist for the University of Georgia.

You can view, and purchase, his paintings in the Fine Art section.  Examples of his custom portraits can be seen under Custom Work.  His free lance design work can be found in the various tabs entitled Logos, Vehicle Wraps, Graphic Design and the upcoming Racing section.    And, check out the newest and exciting addition:  University of Georgia Art.
